A small cottage nestled under the Norfolk Pines on Napier's Marine Parade has been the home of New Zealand's finest Indonesian dishes since 1983.
With an archipelago of over 18.000 islands stretching along the equator
Indonesia is home to hundreds of different ethnic with over 700 languages and dialects.
Naturally, you can expect thousands of varieties of fine food originated from this vast country. We have carefully selected a few for your enjoyment.
Since
1983
Established in 1983 by Mr & Mrs Machiela, it has had a handful of Dutch owners with a passion for Indonesian cuisine.
Since 6th of September 2018, we are very happy and proud to announce that Restaurant Indonesia is owned and operated by Indonesian.
All our dishes are authentically spiced but not too HOT, our homemade Sambals (chilli) will be served on the side to spice up your food to your liking
